HUPICO, www.hupico.be, a specialist player in industrial automation who is situated in Ghent, recently prepared for future growth by a Management Buy In.
As the company continued to florish since Pierre Huyghebaert (age 59) started it in 1994 as a top skilled entrepreneur, the need for an experienced general manager became more and more urgent. Not only to optimize the internal processes further, but also to help to choose and prioritize the many opportunities in the market. Also the future of the company would get secured with this extra competent manager on board.
On 1 October 2020 Johan Paul (age 44) joined HUPICO as the new Managing Director and Partner, under the setup of an Owner Buy Out (OBO).
Johan Paul, Engineer in Chemistry and Doctor of Applied Sciences, already has more than 15 years of experience in various management positions in the Flemish industry and recently obtained an Executive MBA at Vlerick Business School.
Pierre Huyghebaert (age 59) remains active in the company for many years to come as Sales Director in order to further assist the clients in their projects.
The combination of Johan’s management skills and experience in new sectors, together with Pierre’s drive and vast practical experience in industrial automation made this Buy In an undoubted and certain succes!
